    I have recently purchased nod32 .
I use Xoftspy to scan each morning and it has picked up
three infections, later I ran nod32 to try and pick them up
and it has not picked up anything !
    Troj_dlowd.A
    W32 Chainsaw worm
    W32 Coflop.mm
I am very concerned as Nod is supposed to be excellent
at detecting trojans and worms, can anyone advise me
    as to why ?
    thanks :(

Thanks Snowbound for the info, I was beginning to wonder
how come Xoftspy was finding the same virus each morning
after it supposedly deleted it the day before, I must say I am
peeved as this program was recommended by sites that review
    software.
Can you recommend a good and reputable spyware program
    that I can use?
I now assume the virus I have is not real as nod32 doesnt
    pick up anything.

Blackspear.. thanks for the link to the tweeking, I followed
    all the instructions.
There isnt any info for the Nod 32 System setup tab, what
needs to be selected there or does this not matter ?

    thanks again

There is a link here to confirm that your system is clean: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=47830 at the end of this thread you will find further links to discussions on securing your computer and what people use…

I’m not too certain as to where exactly you mean, can you throw up a screen shot…

    Hope this helps…

    Cheers :D

Your screenshot looks just like mine. You can hit the system setup button for options. After you hit setup, there is a help file at the bottom of the window that explains each function.

    Good to see :D

What you are seeing is just your "overall" setup of Nod32, I tend to leave this area alone...

    Hope this help...

    Cheers :D
