    Hi,

We have a problem with the ESET NOD32 Antivirus (latest version). After installing the driver for Keyspan USB Server (Model: U2S-2A Keyspan - -http://www.tripplite.com/shared/software/Driver/Keyspan-U2S2A-driver-2.0.2.2-WIN.exe-) the Antivirus crashes after the splash screen (if the user logs in, the splash screen with the robot becomes blanked out, and Windows gives the "Close Program" option).

The system itself becomes unstable after a while even if the user does not log in, and the PC needs to be restarted (so I assume the problem is with the service and not only the GUI part of ESET). I have not seen anything unusual in the system logs. Uninstalling either of the software "solves" the problem.

The system is a VM running on ESXi, and the guest is Windows 2008 32bit.

Any ideas why this might happen ? If anyone cares to try it, the USB software can be installed without the device, and can be easily uninstalled.

Thanks, I appreciate any help you could provide.

    Alex.
