Perhaps you should first submit the file to VirusTotal ... ;-)

it's useless to submit it to virustotal if it's not a virus. ;)

    How do you know that?

EDITED: O.k. Have checked how it works. I would say this is a "voluntarily" missing PW check ;-)

We found and discussed this crack, also virustotal and jotti scans come with a worm in it.
We reported to Nod32 Turkey and no response.
You can see the result pics and so on here.. as well as page is in Turkish I want to say there are no links to that crack in the web site..

I had informed Eset about these cracked versions, a long time ago.
I saw many differents versions of it.
They said it's more important to blacklist those licenses keys around the globe.
Since then, I don't send cracked version anymore.

Now you know what I mean.
I think in the future, there will be more cracked versions installed than a blacklisted license.
    Well, it's up to Eset.

Actually, it is totally absurb to use a cracked version of an antivirus software. Just update the signature would not be enough. Norton AntiVirus has a crack that can extend the liveupdate for 50 years. It is now 2006. Will you still want to use Norton AntiVirus 2006 when it is 2056? Isn't that reasonable? Is it reasonable to use an antivirus software that is 50 years old if it is now 2056, just because the liveupdate can work for 50 years?

Cracking an antivirus software to extend the subscription for 1 or 2 years would be resonable, though illegal, but cracking it for more than 2 years would be a joke!!!

Really don't understant why people like using cracked antivirus software.

I agree, and defeats the purpose of using antivirus. The user will have no idea if a DLL has been injected with harmful information, without knowledge of how to look for it.

Offtopic.... Microsoft Live products, I find it asinine that Microsoft is even charging for the Live One Care product. It's complete rubish. It's their responsibility to provide a secure OS and fill it with working features, not charge it's consumers for every trinket it develops.
