I have installed the NOD32 trial edition and ran with no problems. I then purchased the NOD 32 commercial version and installed it.

I am running ZA and Counterspy. After the the installation of NOD32 commercial the computer started to lock up. I uninstalled NOD32 (with no problems) and all was well. I then re-installed NOD32. Same problem. I then stopped Counterspy from the startup folder and rebooted. All was well.

It seems that when counterspy is started on log on it conflicts with NOD32.

Does anyone have any ideas on this problem ?.

    Thanks,

    Hi intwtl, welcome to Wilders.

I would suggest repairing Winsock, then repair IMON; see post number 40 HERE

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

I had major conflicts with NOD32 and ZoneAlarm. Completely uninstalled ZA and installed Comodo PF. Runs great.

Hi DE Retiree, welcome to Wilders.

I have installed this combination on 100's of systems, only on rare occasions have I seen a conflict, and with such an occasion, repairing Winsock has resolved the situation.

    Cheers :D

No troubles here with the combination NOD32 + ZoneAlarm Pro + Counterspy (and BOClean + Winpatrol)

Thanks for the welcome to Wilders, Blackspear. By the way, I followed your set up guide for NOD32 ... it was excellent. Thanks for the effort you put into posting it.

OK, I used the Winsock XP fix as you recommended and as of now all is working fine for the last 4 hours.

    Thanks for the assistance.
