It seems to only be happening on ALL of my Dell Latitude D520's. This is a fresh install of Windows XP Pro x86.

What happens is when Outlook goes to update the folders or sync it crashes. Poof, just goes away. I uninstall NOD32 and it works fine. That is what leads me to believe that it is a NOD32 issue. There isn't anything else installed.

Can someone help me out to get this fixed?

    Thanks
    Mark

Have you installed your Office updates? (should be included in Microsoft updates)

Yes, everything is up to date with updates.

On a test machine, just for the hell of it, I uninstalled 2.7 and installed 3 and no crashes. If that tells you anything.

I wonder if there are any leftover COM+ add-ins from a prior antivirus product?

Also try deleting the extend.dat file hidden in the users profile.

There was no prior antivirus product. Its a new install of WinXP Pro, office 2k3, all updates done, NOD32 v2.7.

Outlook crashes when it updates the folders/mailbox from the exchange server.

Testing v3 just to see if it is all of the products, I uninstalled v2.7 and installed a trial of v3 and all worked fine.
