    Hello,

    First escuse my english :)

    Now, here is my problem..
Since 1 or 2 ( or 3 ? :) ) weeks, my sound card is désactivated at every start of Windows and I have to reinstall pilots to re-activate it ... ( And it is re-desactivated 2 or 3 hours later :/ )

I use my sound card integrated in my motherboard, using Realtek AC'97 pilots.
    Got Windows XP Pro.

To find out what was the problem I formated, and It appears that evrything work until I install and Update Nod32...

Hoping someone got this problem or that someone got a solution ..

Thanks and please forgive my english once again :)

    Hi Toddy, welcome to Wilders.

I'm not sure if the issue you are having is actually related to NOD32, as I have never come across this in over 4 years of installing NOD32 on over 1000 computers.

My only suggestion, though I'm not sure it will do anything at all, is the following:

Repair Winsock, then repair IMON; see post number 40 HERE

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

Strange. Does removing NOD32 (without reformatting) fix the sound problem?
