    Hello

has any of you incountered problems on installing esets antivirus onto a RH 8.0 linux box running sendmail 8.12.5-7? I'm having a hard time integrating esets into scanning email messages. I've followed the instructions and managed to install the software, i've copied the license file into its location, i can see the two processes running, i have even access to wwwi. But i cannot configure esets to run with sendmail. When i run esets_setup i get this message:

Welcome to esets_setup, the ESET Security interactive automated install script.

It will help you integrate ESET Security with your system easily and can later
undo all changes. In case some files must be modified, they will be
backed up in your home directory.

There are no automated installations for File Servers,
see the guide in /usr/share/doc/esets for general instructions.

If i try to modify sendmail.mc and activate esets smfi i get all sorts of error messages in sendmail's logs. One of the error is like this:

Milter (esets_smfi): local socket name /var/run/esets_smfi.sock unsafe
    Milter (esets_smfi): to error state
Milter: initialization failed, temp failing commands

So if any of you has advices, i'll be happy to take them :D

    Cosmin
