Hi, since im gonna install nod32 as soon as f-secure runs out i would like to ask a few question about other software.

i was thinking about pairing it with eiether outpost or comodo as firewall for now.

is that enough with my nat router?
atm I only use f-secure internet secuirty 2007 as my realtime so is nod32+ firewall enough in this case and use antispyware as ondemand?
its a kinda of i dont mind paying for one piece of software since i got my nod32 license for free from a kind person on this forum that didnt need it.

Yes, it´s enough. XP´s firewall would be enough too
    I´d add a HIPS and/or a sandbox

Very good setup until OA´s firewall is tested ;)
I´m assuming that you have a proper backup system, OS hardened and use third-party browser/mail client with the right add-ons

I have acronis true image 9 as my backup system.

I use third party brower's i have opera and firefox.

I have setup outlook express to display all emails as plain text etc.
I haven't been infected for nearly 2 years.
I myself use thunderbird as my mail client.
my dad uses outlook express but I done the security changes as noted above.
oddly i havent done much OS harderning because i havent got infected in such a long time it doesn't seem needed.
I have used xp antispy to disable some unneeded services such as windows messaging service which isnt needed as home user.
