nod32 and eicar test file virus!!!!!!

    this is the first time i used nod 32 , i believe it is a really good antivirus , the problems is i test it with the eicar test file and nod 32 does not detect the virus insde a zip file , is there something wrong with my set up or nod32 did not really detect it , :doubt: :doubt: o_O o_O

    we use this forum for testing page layouts and stuff
    maybe you should repost this in the NOD32 forum in case this doesnt get aquick answer, you will get a faster answer there

    The resident protection (AMON) doesn't scan within archives, however, if you start the NOD32 scanner and have it set to scan within archives, it will detect it. Also, if you extract it from the archive, AMON will detect it.
