Just installed the release of Mozilla Thunderbird, the open source e-mail client.
It is working great together with NOD32 except for one strange thing.

I have the POP3 settings for my Gmail account enabled. That POP3 setting includes getting mail on a non standard port (995) and using SSL for a secure connection. The weird thing is that NOD32 scans and tags every mail i get except those from Gmailo_O

I´ve configured NOD32 to check for incoming mail on ports 110 and 995, all mail on the 110 port gets scanned and tagged but not the mails on port 995. I attached a screenshot of my settings.

This sux (the same issue with avast! 4.5). It looks like GMail has to impliment its ovn AV protection since SSL makes more problems than any good.

Can you automatically forward your Gmail to your POP email address, and this way Nod32 will scan it as it arrives.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D
