Every file that I download from the internet NOD32 opens to the main page. Very annoying. How can I disable this?

Every time I download ANY file from the internet, no matter what the format, after the download completes, NOD32 opens to the main page. That's it. Really no need for a screenshot.

Uninstall and reinstall your software and post back your findings.

Explain what a main page is, in your interpretation, your desktop ?

"NOD32 opens to the main page". Main page = NOD32 main page or main screen. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling later today.

    Hello,

Are you using a download manager with your web browser to download files? If so, than perhaps it has been configured to scan files for malware after they have finished downloading.

    Regards,

You nailed it, thank you. Firefox add-on called "Download Statusbar" was the culprit. All set and thanks again for all the replies & help.
