NOD Question

    Hi All

    My question is my neighbor did download the Trial Version of NOD 32 2.0
    on his Computer which his operating system is Windows 98 and it was conflicting with his Norton a/v , so he uninstalled the Trial Verson, Now the problem is He can't get on the Internet, This is what his computer is showing now, Does anybody know what he could do besides contacting NOD support.
    This is his error message

    Hi Tommy2117 welcome to Wilders.

    Can you follow the instructions regarding WINSOCK, found towards the end of post number 2 HERE.

    Norton will conflict with Nod32, it is always best to run a single Anti-virus program.

    one quick question , the winsock fix is for XP, my neighbors using Windows 98 do you hava a site for OS Windows 98 winsock fix,

    If this doesn't fix the problem I would suggest uninstalling Norton, cleaning the registry of any remnants and reinstalling...
