I use NOD32 for resident protection. I also use KAV 4.5 but only for on-demand scans. I have the KAV script checker installed. When a page loads up in IE i see a little KAV icon blinking in the bottom of the browser page. This must mean that the KAV script checker is active. I pressume that the script checker is seperate to the resident protection in KAV? So even though i have KAV's resident protection disabled, it is still checking scripts in the webpages i access. Is this correct?
Does this mean i'm kind of running both NOD and KAV at the same time?
Is there any chance of them getting in each others way, or is the KAV script checker a totally different animal to anything NOD has?
