Hey all new user to NOD so stick with me :)

First problem that i'm having with NOD i have an App call swix that when IMON is running it has issues with hearing people on the other end of the phone. As soon as i fully disable IMON and reboot it works fine. I know that version 3 should change this but any ideas of how to get round this atm but still keeping IMON active?

    Regards

Hi , This is not a problem !

    Repair Winsock
    Windows XP SP2 only
    Start –> Run
    type cmd Click OK
    type netsh winsock reset
Press ENTER . Restart immediately !

    Windows XP and XP SP1
    Download and run http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html

    After this , repair IMON
    NOD32 Control Center -> IMON -> Setup -> Miscellaneous -> Repair now

    Restart

Open IMON -> Setup -> HTTP -> Client compatiability and do make sure you set the particular application to Higher compatibility
    as shown in the screenshot

which means it doesn't use HTTP to connect to the outside world .
If so , simply disable IMON and restart . Having IMON off doesn't mean that your protection is not high . AMON will catch everything that is on your hard drive

Another option is to contact ESET's Tech Support
    support@eset.com

    hi Bluecube_Wrighty, welcome to Wilders.

I would suggest on a SINGLE PC repairing Winsock, then repair IMON; see post number 40 HERE

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

    Hello,

Can you tell us where more information about Swix can be found? I found a vendor named Sweex mentioned on VoIP-Info_Org which sells a one-port FXO card, but didn't see much information about a SIP softphone called Swix.

    Hello,

I visited http://www.swyx.com/ and they have quite a few different products. If you can give the actual names of the ones you are using and a description of how they are configured on the network that would be helpful in troubleshooting the problem.

    Regards,
