I have downloaded DefenseWall Version 2 Beta4 and NOD don't like it . I had to disable AMON and IMON to download and install. Now all seems ok till I try to check DW for updates. I have to disable again. Is there some way to get NOD to get along?

I have submitted the file but all you can do is exclude it - but Nod will occasionally find it

I have also submitted the file to them. I changed DW back to version 1.74, because it was driving me nuts. Everytime i tried DW update it wouldnt let update to take place. I also tried to exclude the files, but NOD32 keeps finding it again.

Does anyone know if eset has addressed this problem yet? Because of this problem, I have relegated NOD32 to on-demand and have experimented with other antivirus programs. FYI, so far so good, I have been running without a resident antivirus for nearly three weeks and have yet to be infected with anything.

I doubt ESET will continually fix such an issue with a "Beta", they would however do so with a finalized product.

    Cheers :D

You are welcome. I know of another Beta going through multiple changes almost daily, and the same answer applied.

    Cheers :D

Has NOD fixed the DefenseWall beta problem? It seems to be no longer jumping on the driver. I noticed that I have nothing in Quarantine or in the threat log.

    Hello WilliamP,

FYI, I just uploaded DefenseWall v2.0 beta 6 to VirusTotal and it appears that NOD32 no longer flags it. Hopefully, this helps.
