Just a question on the reporting side of NOD32 administrator console. Under 'report target' the Send vie e-mail is greyed out and I can add a To address to deliver the monthly/weekly reports. Does any1 know why this is thx.
Did you set an SMTP server in "Server Options" on your mirror server? Tools/Server Options/Configuration from the NOD console. Jack
Yep I now good our exhcnage server address in the field and able to put my email address, but now roprt emails come through. Could it be because of the Service Packs that Microsoft have released that restrict 3rd party programs from emailing via outlook?
Sorry, I don't use Exchange, so I don't know if the following is even relevant. Do you have a server that actually has the SMTP service running, or does Exchange also handle SMTP traffic? In other words, if you try to use something that does a pure SMTP mail function (something like BLAT, for instance), does it work if you point it at your Exchange server? If so, then RA shouldn't have any issues. If not, then you will have to find an SMTP server to use. Jack
Hi dsi-ap, welcome to Wilders. While we wait for further suggestions to come along, could you please send an email to support@eset.com and place a link to this thread. If you do not hear from Eset within 3 days (allows for weekends), please advise us here... We would appreciate if you could keep us in the loop with your progress, as we all learn this way… Cheers
Thx for the welcome YAY! I got my first batch of reports from 2 of our sites runing nod admin console and some interestign figures to read off from. Thanks guys.
Hi Anotherjack, I made sure the exhcnage/smtp server ip/host address is configured in servers configuration for nod admin console. The a quit and restarted nod console. And let it run on a scheduled time and voila reports come in on the email address i set it to received from.
