NOD 32 Question

    If I was to recieve an E Mail with an infected attachment will Imon alert on it. I would also like to make a comment. You Eset folks are really putting out the virus definitions. Good job! :D

    Simple answer is yes, if you are using a standard POP3 account.

    And shouldn't you add: yes, as long as the virus is in the existing definition file? And as WilliamP alluded to, Eset does a good job staying on top of these things.

    Or detected by AH. IMON uses AH by default.

    True. But I've never seen any evidence these hueristic algorithms work. In the past 8 years, I've used a few different AV's. They have caught a few viri, and missed a few too. But never has one caught one using hueristics. So I continue to wonder...
