Anyone know how to make a bootable disk to scan a computer locally?
Perhaps either of these knowledgebase articles will be of assistance:
ESET KB #557, "Integrating the ESET On-Demand Scanner (v2.7) with UBCD and BartPE"
ESET KB #2103, "How do I use ESET SysRescue to create a bootable USB flash drive, CD or DVD? (4.0)"
Sounds nice... Can I clean infected PC with this disc/flash if that computer will be without Eset AV installed and without Internet connection too?
In those instances, the discs created would be booting from a self-contained operating system, i.e., not from the infected operating environment of the computer's hard disk drive, so they should be able to remove detected threats from infected PCs.
