Nod 3.0 icon disappears off task bar!

Question is should it and if it does has it switched its AV off? (Should say dissapears from notification/system tray)

Am also running Comodo Firewall Pro & BoClean 4.25.

I've seen this a few times, with high CPU usage of the ekrn process. I open the gui once or twice to resolve it. It looks like a bug.

It didn't happen until I put BoClean on this afternoon. Plus I haven't had any high CPU usage either.

I had to rethink this and after checking my firewall config, seeing ekrn with a rule to allow updates, I now believe the high cpu occurred only when it was checking for signature updates. Still, the disappearing icon is certainly not good.

Open the Advanced Setup Tree of EA and add BOClean's folder in the exclusions
And vice-versa , add ESET's folder (Program files\ESET) or ekrn.exe to BOClean's exclusions. Restart.
There is a kind of known incompatibility between EA and BOClean

Think you're right, I left BoClean off and the PC on overnight, Icon was still there this morning.

first bit, no problem.
second bit couldn't drag the folder in, so dragged ekrn.exe over - is that correct?

I do this with emails, only read half of them, did the same with you post!
ekrn IS listed as excluded in BoClean.

 

So everything is now well ?

 

Looks like it, I'll leave the PC on and see if everything is ok later
