Since the beginning of this month I have been unable to update ewido 3.5 Free. Downloading the signatures works, but it's cumbersome.

Is it me or the new Grisoft marketing policy?

    That's an old version.
The last version I had before the change-over to AVG Antispyware 7.5 was Ewido 4.0.

Thank you guys for your replies.

I have been using ewido 3.5 Free as an on demand scanner (downloaded it as late as January 2006) and I was quite happy with that solution. I would like to keep it going for at least some more time, until we see what happens next on this scene.

No current ewido 3.5 Free users out there? If there are, can they update?

Theres no harm in having a free upgrade to Ewido 4.0, you may like it even more.

Why would you want and old solution when the new is better and more up to date? Esp when it's free?

Yes, you are right - didn't know that ewido 4.0 came in the free edition too.

I'll have a look, thank you.

The free version of AVG AS 7.5 is better than Ewido 3.5 IMO.
    You will probably like it.

The first day impression of AVG AS 7.5 is good.
Unforgiving about tracking cookies, like ewido 3.5 was.
