No Server 2008 R2 - Support?

I use a server 2008 R2 server (home use ONLY !!! - but not the MS Homeserver 200, and wanted to use eset nod 32 Antivirus, but the installation fails. Reason is, that no "server operating systems" are supported.

In the german FAQs: "ESET NOD32 Antivirus und ESET Smart Security laufen sowohl unter den 32-Bit als auch den 64-Bit Versionen von Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Home Server, Vista und 7. 64-Bit Unterstützung gibt es nur für AMD64/EMT64 oder kompatible Prozessoren. Das IA64 (Itanium) Instruktionsset wird nicht unterstützt. Um festzustellen ob Sie ein 32-Bit oder ein 64-Bit Windows verwenden, lesen Sie bitte den folgenden ..."

Thats means, that ESET NOD32 Antivirus is compatible with 32bit and 64bit of Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Homeserver, Vista and 7. 64bit support only for AMD64 and not for Itanium.

So, is this information wrong !?

I think you should use Endpoint solution for ANY server system.
Just download trial of EES and check.

My guess would be that the German FAQ is out of date. The software to install on a Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 server would be ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server.
