:doubt: Newly purchased Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.
    I have a peculiar problem...........
Having made a Bootable CD I can successfully boot into the Main Menu where 5 available selections appear.....
The first option is "Acronis Disk Director Full Version (Recommended)...
If I select and load the selection I loose control of my mouse, it will only move vertically up and down in the centre of the screen which ever way I move the actual mouse itself......
Funny thing is that this does not happen with any other selections, on the remaining 4 options my mouse behaves perfectly OK..
Any one else come across this ?

Windows XP Pro SP3 and cordless keyboard and mouse.....
Any help or suggestions will most welcome..
    Thanks,
    Ron..

    Welcome to the forum.

I assume the keyboard/mouse is USB.

When you get to the Acronis menu, press F11 and enter the following into the box (quiet will usually already be there):
    quiet usbmouse=off

Then click OK and try the Full Mode version again. If that doesn't help, check the BIOS for a Legacy USB option. If its disabled, enable it and see if it works better.

Also, is the keyboard/mouse plugged into a motherboard USB port?

:thumb: Many thanks MudCrab, the F11 solution worked a treat.
No Legacy USB option in the BIOS but what was available, was Enabled....
Yes the Mouse/Keyboard USB connection is plugged directly into the Motherboard...
    Again..
    Thanks

Would like to ask you another question if I may please ?
    Cheers, Ron...

Sure. If it's off-topic (non-Acronis), you can send a PM.
