No free trial

    I downloaded AVG Anti Spyware and used it for about 5 days I had full use of all the features. I then started to have problems that the Resident Schield wasnt active. I then decided to uninstall AVG Anti-Spyware and reinstalled it. Now I have no access to the Resident Schield or auto update. It says these are not availlable in the trial version. What happened and how can I fix this?

    you uninstalled it so it now thinks your trial is over you should email grisoft and explain that you didnt get the full trial and they should give you a code for 30 days.

    Okay I emailed the sales & support and they said to download the trial version of AVG 7.5 so I did, the features are still unavailable. If I'm correct they are all the same versions anyway. Without being able to evaluate AVG AS properly I guess I'll look elsewhere. Does anyone have any other suggestions to try?

    Similar happening regarding KAV. I downloaded and installed V5 and it would not update. I removed it after a couple of days of that.

    Later I wanted to test KAV6 on the same machine, but it would not let me. I have no gripe, and understand that a company does not want to permit trial after trial after trial. So I suppose we had better decide if we are through before we uninstall. Evidently the trials do not permit uninstalaling and reinstalling to correct problems.
