    I've always liked his utilities.
Like Sysinternals, they're small, efficient, and free.
I currently have Currports, WhoIsThisDomain, FileTypesMan, and ShellExView on my box.

It's one of my favorite utilities site. Just noticed there's an rss feed. Is that where you picked it up?

Just when you think M$ has no other place on your own PC to sneak n hide activities. just run Nirsoft's ShellBagsView and you'll be surprised. But not to be outdone, install RegSeeker (freeware) & set it to remove under to remove and even those super hidden copycats are removed Histories/CleanStreamMRU/Stream Keys, then run shellbags view again. LoL :thumb:

Keeps abreast often of that site because in my personal correspondence with this developer, this master of asembly language applications is going all out in the months ahead to take on every conceivable item which will be useful for us as a whole, and he experesses no reservation whatsover in slacking off from this super-mega project that's taken on a mission to assist users eveywhere to get straight to the the heart of windows so-called secret hidden agendas they've forced into their O'S's over the years.

This gentleman is a true master of code intelligence that even Bill Gates cannot compete with.

If it's in there, he will bring it right up to the surface for all to understands and see.

And what boggles my mind, all his apps are 100% free!

Maybe they justy dont like the fact they are free...:cautious:

If you like to have Sysinternals' & Nirsoft's sets of utilities at hand, organized and portable, you'll find it convenient to use this front-end
    Windows System Control Center v1.3.0.0

    Thank you very much, Easter!

I have been a long time MyUninstaller user, and lately I noticed that the list of software was growing.
But somehow I always was rushing through as opposed to stopping and picnicking at this wonderful software place.

Word of warning to anybody doing this. It corrupted some registry access permissions and my desktop icons no longer stay put and I cannot access the Shell Bags registry key. Also, restoring the backup created by RegSeeker does not fix the problem. Therefore, make sure you take a second registry backup (ERUNT perhaps).

I had the exact same problem but managed to resolve it by using the following instructions.
    http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?p=199546&sid=6e649c249b372ec51bbb62dc67bcefc1#p199546

it might be safer to remove these files using a simple reg file such as:
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU]
    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags]

    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\BagMRU]
    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\Bags]

    and then rebooting.

Thanks for the advice. I did follow this procedure and it seemed to fix my icon problem. However, after updating to XP SP3, my PC slowed to a crawl. Therefore restored to previous FD-ISR snapshot and all's well.

    Thanks anyway.
