NewTangent Trojan is hidding in the Beta release of AIM 5.5.301

    Ok I downloaded the file and installed it and as soon as I tried to run it BoClean popsup telling me that NewTangent Trojan was found in the memory, an yes it was dropped by AOL AIM to c:\windows\wt\updater
    The file name of the AOL AIM which I downloaded is Install_AIM_5.5.3501.exe...

    Ok it's a spyware that keeps tracks of your browsing habits and thus customizes the ads. :) Plus it sends your browsing habits to the nice company.

    SpyBot will clean out Wild Tangent from your computer. Give it a go.
