We caught a person after hours in an un-authorized part of the building on a PC running Bindandunbindv8 - QuickTest Professional. They had a sheet covering the screen and it was running when it was discovered.

What does this program do and what damage/info can be obtained using this program? Billing info? Personal information? Identity theft?

    Thanks for the help.

most of the sites that I found concerning bind and unbind refered to placing hidden commands to bind to different functions in the target computer . It is used as a spy tool to get info off of the target computer without being seen. I could show you the code used but we don't post that sort of thing here. I believe that your IT person needs to run the appropriate antispyware to remove this malware.

Oh and almost any information on the computer can be viewed.
bind and unbind does have other uses but it can be used as a hacker tool.

Thanks a million. That's what we suspected. This person is not a developer and had no business in that area.
