I was checking Key entries in my Registry this evening and there up front and centre was a Spyware Blaster Key I've not seen before. In fact, it was labelled `NEW' by the software program I'm using while all other keys were labelled `OLD'.

    Key in question reads:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SpywareBlaster\Ss

Is this a legit key and where would it have come from? My firewall is secure [or so I thought]. It's the free version of Zone Alarm and tonight, it's task bar icon changed to an image that isn't even available when I go to Properties\change icon and browse the offering.

I ran Norton Anti-Virus ware for Zone Alarm folder and all Widows files and got a clean result. Ad-Aware has not turned up any spyware. My OS is Win 98SE.

    Will appreciate some guidance.

    Thank you

    Hey Welt....Welcome to Wilders [IMG]

The Ss key is where Spywareblaster stores a string value of System snapshots created.
