Well, thought I, perhaps I'll download the new version and uninstall the old and install the new. D/L'd after a long time (somebody's servers are busy :) )... I install the fresh file... except at the final step

I get an error thump and a dialog box with a red x and the message

    (121) NOD32 for Windows NT/200/xp/2000 - Standard Component.

I have to hit "OK" and the process ends.... nada.

So I'm sitting here with no virus protection at all?

    Like.... help!

    Any suggestionso_O?

Go to program files, and delete the Eset folder. Then try reinstalling Nod.

    Cheers :D

If still no avail, drop an email to support@nod32.com. We will provide you instructions how to make a setup log that will help us figure out the reason for the error.

Will e-mail you, as deleting the ESET folder before re-install did not help.
