New port & Domain database updates?

I have been using the "New port & Domain database" update feature, just as a matter of interest how often is this updated at DCS?

 

The port/domain databases are usually updated several times a month. I'd recommend updating once a month (any more is not necessary), but there's no great urgency - just download them whenever you like

 

There's no indication about number of descriptions or latest update date, only telling it's up to date or if we would like to update now.
But updating goes smooth, so no problem.

I always wonder about whois servers/urls if such lists ever need updating too.
I still get from PE the most complete whois results.
