It all started innocently enough last night. I was watching the Olympics opening ceremonies which to me was somewhat boring (the living statues were okay).
Something must have happened because today I seem to have contracted a new virus named Olympic.Fever.

    Here are the symptoms:

    1. Spending more time staring blankly at a TV than a computer monitor.
    2. You find yourself enjoying sports events that you never knew existed.
    3. You begin cheering for countries that you never knew existed.
    4. Non stop consumption of any and all snack food.

If you suffer from the above symptoms, please seek immediate medical attention.

    Hi Devinco,

I sympathize with you!! Take two Twinkies,a dozen doughnuts, pretzels, peanuts, a liter of your favorite soda, a good take-out menu, a phone, put your feet up, tape the remote to your armrest (can't lose that at a crucial moment:eek:!) maybe a pillow behind your head, a newspaper or book on your lap, a pet by your side, there you are all set to beat this Oly virus right where it lives!! You can do it, Devinco, we have faith in you!!

    Cheers!

    Marja:cool:

P.S. It HAS to beat hands down our election year political coverage day and night for months- more!!:)

    Hi Marja,

    Thanks for the support.
I was starting to run out of snacks already!
I'll have to organize my snacks by the beverage they go with:
Beer with the salty ones and Soda with the sweet ones.

Good idea about the remote too. My finger is developing a nervous twitch for the channel button. Must watch more....

    gerardwil,

That's good to know. I wouldn't want it to take away from my Wilder's Watching for too long :)
