Worst case scenario in the UK is if the code does not work you will get a refund from DABS - DABS are an established retailer though they may have changed hands a few times - As I said before they are either stolen or they are not, hinting at the fact they may be stolen is IMO perhaps not a good idea on a public forum? Earlier in this thread it's been said a key-code is good for 10 years, if a person decides to buy 10 legitimate copies of WSA today, & spreads activation of each license over the next 9 years is that person doing anything wrong?

In 9 years time who knows what software may cost or even if the PC as we know it (or earth) will even exist & this is of course a hyperbole but WSA could cost 300 times what it does today - I bought some years ago 3 lifetime licenses for a anti-malware program & the company may be kicking themselves for ever doing that as a years renewal is far more expensive than the lifetime licenses I bought, (although a well known anti-malware company still does lifetime licenses) I indeed do have a slight twinge of my conscience each time I update the program as I feel I have had my moneys worth but I'm doing nothing wrong - That's life - I have to abide by the T&C's I contract to for servicing in the field I work, there may be some huge changes in that term as there has been in the cost of fuel & materials etc. but I & the customer have to live by the T&C's we agree to for the term of that contract - I win some & I also lose some -

Webroot may get some customers who haven't paid much for a license for a year but when renewal comes up a customer may decide to stick with WSA & perhaps their friends or colleges may be impressed by WSA & buy licenses at the full price long after the few cheap licenses have gone, who knows?

That's before I knew where you got it from so it is best to keep trying to call the Sales department to be sure!

Is this situation arose because webroot released too many licence in 2011 and retailers now have surplus stock, and most people want to buy the latest version
