Yes, the 'same old, same old' rhetoric of the delusionally paranoid ... o_O

Anyway, I wouldn't take much notice of anyone who can't tell the difference between the adjective their & the pronoun/plural present indicative auxiliary contractive they're!

"Unless we check the thousands of lines of source code every time a new version is released, how do we know their not slipping in their own backdoor? " o_O

Hosting the project on SourceForge is a good idea... More openness would deflect some of the criticism and hopefully give the project more credibility.

Maybe ... maybe they've got nothing to hide. I don't see why so many people are getting their knickers in a twist over this. The German government criticised Google & the SRWare Iron blokes saw a niche in the market. I've been using it for a couple of years & the only thing that bothers me about it is that it can be a tad buggy at times. It has Google, Bing & Ask Jeeves as default browser options anyway.

I should complain I suppose as it cost me so many spondoolies .... Oh, hang on a bit ... it didn't! ;) :thumb: o_O

What got me all impressed was "delusionally paranoid". (My spellchecker doesn't like delusionally but ...)

I was under the obviously misguided impression that paranoia was a form of delusion. But now I know better ;) . FYI, there was a recent display elsewhere if you've been watchfully observant.

I think it's a security fix. It's just a bit of a pain having to c & p Fanboy's Adblock list back into Iron's adblock file after every update. It's bad enough on one computer, but when you have more than that it is a bit tedious having to disable the UAC & re-booting. :(

LOL! Possibly Offensive Clever Phrase Removed - JRViejo

Sorry JRViejo, I thought I was using the polite way of saying it. In England the phrase I originally put is often a polite way for another common phrase in the UK. It is difficult to explain humour to Americans though. They must have a sense of humour (somewhere). I think the nearest the English phrase would be to an American phrase of similar meaning would be 'taking the Mickey'. I suppose you have to have some knowledge of British culture to appreciate our often colourful idiom.

I'm not sure what you mean. I use the bookmarking toolbar. I think in the wrench/spanner originally it says 'Always Show Toolbar'. If you open the bookmark manager you can drag & drop the 'star' (Bookmark Manager) icon into the bookmarking toolbar.

I don't know why, & straying slightly off-topic, you have just reminded me of that joke about Canada. Canada should have inherited French culture, British government & American know-how. Instead, it got American culture, French government & British know-how! ;)

Anyway, without using any colourful idiom, it seems the SRWare chaps have returned to the NINE bookmarked speed dial. Hence this release. I'm not sure why they have changed their mind about this.
