New installation ESET Nod32 Antivirus

    Hi,

    Just registred on the forum...

    This is my first installation of an ESET product...

    Background:
    Just installed ESET Nod32 Antivirus BE (both server and console) on a SBS2003, no problems there.

    Version on the Nod32 server: 2.0.110

    Question: What installation package should I use for clients when downloading from the web?
    Can I use v.3.x.x for the clients (when choosing ESET Security products package --> add) or must i choose Nod32 version 2 package --> add?

    I'm a bit uncertain how to proceed... :doubt:

    You can use either one, V3 is ofcourse newer, but V2 is considered by some to be more stable.

    You could run some tests to see which runs better in your network. I'm currently running 91 V3 (and 1 V2) clients without any issues.
