    • The graphical user interface is enhanced with a new design
    • Outlook 2010 support is optimized
    • the PC protection is improved by a new Anti-SPAM function
    • the compatibility to CD/DVD-ROM drives was improved
The protection against malware was additionally enhanced by an improved detection of Microsoft Office documents and a new self-protection against exploits.

Especially interesting for administrators is the new IKARUS Monitor and Control Interface. The COM interface allows for easy integration into existing security solutions. IKARUS virus.utilities can be remotely controlled and queried.
    • Improved Unicode support
    • The operation of the installation dialog has been improved
    • Microsoft Error Reporting has been reactivated and expanded
    • The Silent Setup function has been optimized
    • Improved quarantine - even with a high degree of infection the quarantine modules works without compromising performance
    • The quarantine module can be used via keyboard

Would be more attractive if the price was more reasonable.

At EUR 41/£36/$58, far too expensive for most Home Users to consider. Particularly when compared to the standard of the free AVs available today.

Yes it's priced too high, but slightly better if you go for 3 years or more, price
    nearly halves :

This new version looks interesting, but can't see any info on new "self-protection from exploits", or what it is? Maybe just a check for patches, bit like Secunia?
