I have the version 57.0.4 my profile will not be compatible? does this mean that a new one will be created and must be reconfigured?

You don't have to create a new profile or reconfigure the profile, Firefox will be upgrading the profile automatically.

It only means that you couldn't use new (upgraded) profile with old version if you ever decide to use older version of FF.

What are Firefox Features: Photon onboarding, Web Compat, Follow-on Search Telemetry, Shield Recipe Client and Activity Stream. And why do I need them enabled.

What is pingsender.exe. And why do I need to allow outbound connection.

I've received FF 58.0 on all three of my machines on day one for a change. :thumb:

It seems quicker than FF 57.0.4, or is it just that I've disabled Malwarebytes again? ;)

The number of processes varies depending on the Content Process Limit setting under Performance.

I just updated to Firefox 58, all appears to be fine but the upgrade switched Multiprocess back to Enabled. It took me less than 20 seconds to figure something was not the way supposed to be. After disabling Multiprocess all is back to normal.

And at least 4 processes can be seen, even if the Content Process Limit is set to "1". Two of them are Web-Content processes.
    about:support - "Web Content Processes 2/1"
The amount of processes is normal if Multiprocess is enabled (it is enabled by default)
about:support - "Multiprocess Windows 1/1 (Enabled by default)"

The update went fine for me. Multiprocess was still enabled. But, I only use browsers which use multiple processes.

After updating and restarting the browser, I opened Task manager and saw Firefox using about 320MB of memory. Normal for my Firefox is about 120MB when opening the browser. That and seeing more than one process for Firefox running were the tell tales signs. I then looked in Help>Troubleshooting information, and there it was, Multiprocess appeared as Enabled.

Now, what made me look in Task manager? The first time I reopened Firefox under Sandboxie after the update, I noticed something slightly different in the theme, it only lasted for a quarter of a second, but that's what made me suspect something was not right. Something not being right meaning, something in the way I setup Firefox had changed after the update.

How much RAM do you have, Bo? 320 MB is not much in the big scheme of things. FF 58 is the quickest version I've used on any of my machines.
