If you want to see the same windows/tabs from last time in your sandboxed & unsandboxed Firefox, make sure that the option [X] Allow direct access to Firefox session management is selected.
(Sandbox Settings - Applications - Web Browser - Firefox)

Weird, i have tried it and it was working :cautious:
But here still seems to be an issue with the tab restoration process in Firefox v55.01

Carver, if your Firefox sandbox is not set to delete on closing and you haven't deleted it after upgrading to Firefox 55.0.1, delete it manually. I am not familiar with "Show windows and tabs from last time" but if the Firefox setting is working OK, that should solve your issue.

For me it is one tab and it is blank and the red X doesn't work have to minimize the browser to taskbar then right click on it and select close window. I checked the sandboxie website to check if I had the latest version of sandboxie I do v5.20
Thank you Bo elam, when I deleted the content I must hit cancel instead of delete. Delete content automatically checked

I just started my W7, like in the W10, I am still not getting 55/55.0.1 via updater. :)

Bo, I have one laptop running Fx54, and as of today, it still won't internally update.

Mozilla must be having other issues with the new version. I still get some freezing in Fx55.0.1, not as severe as before. However, the disappearing bookmarks' issue went away. I patiently wait their next move.

Thanks for the links, J R, Brummelchen. Those links confirmed what I was thinking. And why I haven't done an over the top installation.

Hi Mantra. I haven't updated using the full installer. Supposedly there are some bugs and Mozilla is probably fixing them before releasing an update to whoever still on 54.0.1. I am going to play the waiting game. But I ll tell you something, I tested Firefox 57 today and didnt find nothing wrong regarding bookmarks (I think one of the issues affecting FF55 has to do with bookmarks), freezing or anything else. :)

    FYI. Schedule Update (8/15/2017).
I'm still experiencing some freezing and bookmarks disappearance with Fx55.0.1.
