    archive.mozilla.org
And no, not recommended for regular user, because NOT finale stage. On your own risk! Mozilla can revoke update or can choke it for reason.

Haha, just this second updated to v. 100.0.1. Wasn't Firefox that notified me an update was available. Thanks, Sandboxie.

    In Firefox 100.0,
'soft-reloading a web page will no longer cause revalidation for all resources'.
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/100.0/releasenotes/

Does anyone know why that feature was implemented, what the motivation was?
I notice I need Ctrl+F5 to force a reload, more often, which is a bit annoying.

Perhaps I may disable the new feature, in about:config
    browser.soft_reload.only_force_validate_top_level_document true --> false

    sources:
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1752558
    https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/d1b05c963e7e

    Edit:
I disabled the 'soft-reloading a web page will no longer cause revalidation for all resources' feature.
If I find a good reason why it is better enabled, I can re-enable it.

    Edit:
I think I found the motivation for 'soft-reloading a web page will no longer cause revalidation for all resources':

Is anyone else getting freezing with versions 100.x.x? I'll go to load a site and it will just stop responding and I'll have to kill it with Task Manager. I've had this on 2 different PCs.

I don't use Firefox but is this related to your problem? (read thread for 'fix' if it is)

must be a local problem, i am running v100/101beta/102nightly and no such problems. Defender only, so no MITM from an [...] antivirus with SSL inspection or anything else intercepting (eg. proxy or vpn).

if firefox concerning in a direct way -> corrupted cert9.db

I had it too. Browser wouldn't load my home page on startup, wouldn't connect to anything, couldn't access settings .... nothing. Totally frozen. I had problems uninstalling it, getting a message "Please close FF", there was a "ghost" version of it running that appeared nowhere in Task Manager. I started a new instance, killed it, then uninstalled/reinstalled. It opened on first run with the white border bug (a longtime problem with FF), closed it and opened again and ... voila! Everything working fine!

Although I didn't have the freezing issue, I performed the tweak, as described in the link, and my Firefox 100.0.2 seems faster. Just FYI.

Yeah, I couldn't believe the improvement at first, yet links, tabs and bookmarks do open faster so it's a keeper for me. :D
