My new "season" (LOL) about that Firefox issue.
I've decided to repeat my issue on a different computer.
I've opened Sandboxed Firefox (with strict privacy settings) - no comments.
I've unchecked the Tracking button - no comments.
I've switched to Standard - Yes, I can see comments.
    Next.
I've switched back to STRICT (with Preventing Tracking) - and I was able see comments.
    ?
I've closed Firefox and totally cleaned my history, cookies, etc., and restarted Firefox without Sandboxie but with STRICT Privacy settings- I can see comments.
It's like I needed to enter Yahoo once with standard privacy settings, and from now on, I can use the strictest settings with the Yahoo comments visible.

    Go figure.

I have a Windows 8.1 VM with Firefox installed. When it updates to the latest version it is adding a second desktop icon. When I check the target directory it has installed another copy of Firefox to the Mozilla Firefox folder in the Local Appdata folder. Is anyone else seeing this? The original installation is in Program Files as it should be.

you have denied UAC or update could not elevate because of missing rights, that's why the maintenance service is needed for users without sufficient rights (standard users, not admin rights). this behavior is valid for any kind of installation where sufficient rights are not given, programs go to local account, no program files.

    • As scheduled, tomorrow the rollout will drop to 0%
    What does this mean?

XIII, it means that internal updater downloads will be stopped until Mozilla can determine if there are any issues with the new version. If so, we get a dot release soon thereafter. If not, rollout proceeds to 100%.

Thanks. Looks like I got the first part right, but did not think about going "back" to 100% later.
