Same as BoerenkoolMetWorst. Based on what I've seen and read so far, I'm confident this feature is present and enabled in Firefox v. 88.01. It would be silly imo to have this feature be able to be toggled off and on and then have nothing happening either way.

mantra, don't see any info yet on tabs and icons, however, I do like the rounded tabs and icons (because I used the Beta version). If I find any info, I'll post it.

If another member has a response to mantra, by all means, post it.

Having used Compact before, I see my Customize Toolbar now says Density > Compact (not supported).

Aris CSS codes are still working and he already has some proton css (fixes). At least i think he is summoning all snippets from forums. I use my own. Code snippets for proton are available since april, eg
    https://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/

After a fresh install you can activate it with a flag in about:config, but its no longer under development. existing profiles keep the theme active.

I cannot tell you, I'm sorry.
I only know the Firefox-UI-Fix documentation and the Ghacks article, I have no experience with Firefox-UI-Fix.

Just got the update to v.89 now. Sandboxie continues to work perfectly for my basic purposes. Hope it lasts. :thumb:

Oh and the new UI is fine for me. The white dividing lines at the top border are sharper and clear. Not really into the guts of Firefox like some others are.

it was enough to set false these and firefox immediatly look like v88!!!
    Code:
    browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled

The ones that hate it are probably the ones talking about it. I expected to hate it and found that I like it better. A couple of the users I updated didn't even really notice a difference. Not t hat there isn't one. Some folks just don't care.

Well, I can certainly live with this runbar highlighting!

Maybe Mozilla have been listening to user feedback.

I have a few, although some are switched off.

All I have to do now is to see what this version of Firefox looks like on Ubuntu lol.

If you hover (not click on) the padlock next to the URL, you will get some verification of your URL. For example: If I go to Windows 10 Help Forums, it'll say "Verified by: Cloudflare, Inc." Here, it says: "Verified by: Let's Encrypt." I'm aware HTTPS isn't always the safest bet but what do people think of this feature? Me: not much b/c I'm not sure what this is doing. But it's unobtrusive at least.
