In the upper right corner of the page it states "powered by Systweak".
It is indeed sponsored by Advanced System Protector's developer.

What kind of test is that? Looks very unprofessional, also they detected 1596 samples.. Of how many?? I don't see the point in such a small test.

For a company like that 1596-2000 samples is nada.

No I just testing both out to see which one finds what? Spyware Anti Spyware Free found something that PrevX Business 3 didn't find. Still will keep SAS on standby as Rising is doing it's job. I like to test and see if other things get picked up?

Anyway I had removed Advance System Protector crap. To me it's just Fps. It's featured on CNET but someone not really testing these programs. I use one program from systweak their ASO but that's about it. TCP/IP settings good deep into the system where other programs don't change anything for MTU and RWIN. But I can't get into that since this is not a network site.

I did find another chart showing that Secured Web was better than Avira Free. It had a list of effective. I wish I could find that list again But all of what you all use was on that list but not top 100% effectiveness though.

    Wow.

The person who made this list seems to have never had VIPRE or CounterSpy installed. I don't know about the other products but pretty much all of the features they had X for on that list for VIPRE and CounterSpy are features that they both do have. It looks like the person responsible for this list was either just guessing or lying.

Most vendors lie with their comparisons, but I think Kaspersky takes the price. First they lie that they detected most in an AV-Comparatives testing session when it was Avira (seriously, that's just stupid...), then they compare their 2009 product with 2008 products when the other companies' 2009 products are also available. Think there was a third that I've seen and I'm sure there's more... *sigh* :thumbd:

Actually that comparison chart is also pretty much a joke.
I like how pest patrol is rated better then a-squared.

If you look around, you will find the same design (layout and aesthetic) chart advertising all sorts of junk - usually via Google pay per click links advertising junk like Paretologic etc.

Lets face it, the rankings in the chart are a work of fiction - MBAM is ranked second, when in fact it has been proved to have the lowest detection of all major AMs. A-Squared is bottom, when the fact is its it or Avira that are the best.

I would now list Spyware Doctor as a rogue because of this.

According to WOT the link you provided is a site that promotes rogue antimalware products.
