New autorun entery used by malware?

    New autstart entery used by malware?

    About a year ago( approx) I read about a malware using a new auto run autostart entery for the first time ever. I am not able to remember that auto run entery now. It was covered by sysinternals autoruns by the way. Any one remembers?

    Hello aigle,

    Are you meaning "autorun" as it relates to CD and\or DVD's :doubt:

    Or are you meaning autostart locations when the PC starts or new user logs, as in "Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32\wave1 malware.dll" ?
