I asked this before and never got a response
Why is this flagged? Is it safe to allow?
Blocked for now, everything seems ok.
Is net-frame BAD? or what? Using WFC4 @ the time.
Had to install that net frame 4.6. Another bummer thanks EIS!

A "Smart" or "Dynamic" mode would be a very useful enhancement to this program. In "Smart Mode", NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro would automatically enter lockdown mode if a threatgate application (e.g., web browser, e-mail client, PDF reader, etc.) is running. When no threatgate applications are running, NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro would operate in alert mode.

I don't think this is needed. This is an effort to copy VS's approach. I don't see the need

I'm sure they will. MBAE is already being used by many that have already updated to Creators Update. I'm sure the developers will design their products to make sure they are compatible with creators update.

Interesting, but I don't think it's needed, because apps that are not on the white-list can't run anyway? I always felt that VS was a bit too complex, ERP feels simpler.

I have a few questions about NVTERP. 1. Is it strictly an executable, meaning that it only monitors exe files? It would be nice to have script support as well, since bad things can happen from .vbs, com, bat, etc. files as well. I supposed I would need to whitelist/blacklist every command line that those kind of scripts run through? Also, where are the lists stored? I'm looking at using this with ShadowDefender and I need to exclude the lists?

It does indeed whitelist command lines and even allows wild cards. I also use Shadowdefender and I don't need any exclusions.

If you don't exclude the lists none of the new entries will get "saved," correct? That means you'll be prompted about the same apps over and over again?

I found them. The "lists" are stored here: C:\ProgramData\NoVirusThanks\EXE Radar Pro\Data

No...it can be realised by using feature called "commit now" from separate tab of SD options or command from right button menu.
But...we can also wait for Peter's answer about such "mystery of the forest" ;)

If you are talking the latest ERP build it's free so you don't need to do that

Well all my keys were purchased. Given the protection I've felt with ERP over the ears, I have no regrets. I've spent more on lots less.

The latest beta build doesn't need a key. Newer beta builds which will be published soon also don't need one.
But you will need one for the stable version:

Ok. So what about new (stable) builds. I'd like for the donate ad to go away.
