    Same advice as always: Don't use text and calls, use encrypted communication apps. Use a browser that supports HTTPS everywhere, or use a VPN.

    People who care about privacy are probably already taking these steps.

    It is good advice to simply not trust your cell provider, but keep it mind that every upgrade (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G) is progressively harder to exploit. The lower one you're using, the cheaper it is to exploit, the more people you're exposing yourself to.
