    Hi,

it seems, that the true image boot-cd doesn't support the fiberoptic port of an Allied Telesyn AT2700 networkcard. With the TP-Port of the card we got connection.

The same problem we had years ago under Windows 2000 with the PNP-driver from Windows 2000 for this card. W2k installs via PNP a standard AMD-PCNET driver. This driver doesn't work correctly with the AT fiberoptic Cards.
For Windows Allied Telesyn offered a tool atsetup.exe which deleted the standard "inf"-file and installed the correct driver.

We can use tp-converters for our pc's. But if there is an easy solution without additional hardware we will be happy.

    Hello Thomas,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

After that please create new Acronis Bootable CD and then create the sysinfo.txt file as described at https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 and send it along with the full model name of your network card to support@acronis.com indicating in the subject of the letter that you want to contact Marian Fadeeva. She will try to help you with the problem.

    Thank you.
