Network password not working

    I have Acronis TI set up to back up some files on my computer to a network drive on our system. When I schedule the job, when it asks me for a user id and password, I use the same user id (qualified with the domain name) and password that I use to log onto the network. However, when the scheduled job tries to run, it aborts becaue either the user ID or password are invalid according to the log.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Does the log say why the account details are incorrect?

    Can you run the task interactively using the same account details?

    Is it viable to set up a permanent share rather than having to log into the network on demand?

    incorrect password or id

    yes, it only asks for password and id when scheduling
