When I boot my pc using the rescue CD to restore an image from a Microsoft Windows server share, I can only see one of the 6 servers in our domain and that server unfortunately does not contain the image. What can I do to be able to see all of the servers?

    Thanks

    Hello jsmedley,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/my/products/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

If the problem persists please try to indicate the full UNC name of the desired computer as described at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/faq.html#14. Also please check the access rights for the servers you have to make sure you are able to access the desired one.

    Thank you.

Any significant differences in the network between your PC, the server you can see, and the ones you can not see?

Are your PC, the visible server and the invisible servers separated by routers?

Do you have the same network protocols (TCP/IP, IPX, NetBIOS, ...) loaded on the servers?
Have you tried waiting 5-6 minutes between booting from the Rescue CD, and proceeding to the image selection screen?
