Just about the same day development ceased on the Sygate firewall, just wondering if anyone else is using
it and how it was behaving.. ;)

NetVeda sadly is not developed, but on XP can be a fine and efficient firewall. It has many options to set applications policy, users group, web group and contents restriction so that to realise strong parental control.

I think at one point they offered a free and pro version but when developement stopped the pro features were available for all. Be sure and read the brochure -

After installing i could see a boatload of problems down the road if you decided to start tweaking around "and that without support" in case something did go haywire so for the time being I've shelved it..
