Integrated hard disk protection and roll back technologyNetSupport Protect now includes as standard integrated hard disk protection and roll back technology. In addition to the existing functionality that keeps users on task by locking down desktop configuration, the product now also effortlessly protects your operating system and associated files from accidental or malicious deletion and provides a mechanism for automatic restoration on
    reboot.

I think that somewhere it said a 15 day trial and I've also noticed on two different sites that it sells for 16.80(could be old info). I haven't tried it but the info about it appears to be something similar to Steady State.

This looks quite interesting, have downloaded the 28 page user guide from here:

and it looks as though it not only provides rollback and recovery it also provides individual protection for CD/DVD and USB sticks among other things. Will have a better look later. Tea is ready and I'm hungry :D

It froze up when it was creating a restore point. I left it for 15 minutes but still no end in sight, so I reset the computer and the OS wouldn't boot up. I had to use Last Known Good to get into the system and restore it.
