Strumming my Gnome with his fingers. Singing my Bash with his words. Plasma me gently, with his distros. Here's a long, thorough review of Netrunner 17 Horizon 64-bit edition, a Kubuntu-based distribution with the Plasma desktop, tested in a multi-boot setup with Linux and Windows 10 on a laptop with UEFI, Secure Boot and GPT, covering live session, installation and post-install usage, including look & feel, networking - Samba sharing, printing, Wireless, Bluetooth, multimedia support - HD video, Flash, MP3, partitioning, slide show, package management & updates, applications, smartphone support - iPhone, Ubuntu Phone, Windows Phone, hardware compatibility, webcam, stability, performance, responsiveness, suspend & resume, resource usage, battery life, customization, various problems and niggles, and more. Enjoy.

    Update:

Latest version of Netrunner Maui - is no longer based on Kubuntu but is now based on the KDE Neon repositories.

They wanted more cutting edge KDE packages. Of course one can always install KDE Neon.

Both are based on Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus LTS.
