    When I shutdown my Windows XP, I sometimes see a program having trouble to end. It is called something like .Net Broadcast Event Window or something similar.

    I do not understand the purpose of the program. What does it do? Why does Windows XP have much trouble closing programs, giving you this dialog box asking you to end it and such?

    Nero InCD version 4.3.20.1 is also amongst one of the programs often having problems closing on it's own. It is tiring seeing that neither Microsoft nor Nero AG is fixing this.*puppy*

    This is a common problem normally caused by the ATI Catalyst Control Center and it tends to take longer to close down than all the other programs. Not really anything to worry about I dont think but it can be annoying. I had the same problem myself and found some of these links;
